The Summer Reading Challenge 2022 for children aged 4-11 years launches in all our libraries on Saturday 16th July. This year’s challenge is called Gadgeteers and is a celebration of all things science. We hope to inspire children to unleash their curiosity and creativity!

Rishi Sunak has praised the creative and value for money approach behind the refurbishment of a community library. 

The Richmond (Yorks) MP conducted the formal re-opening of Colburn Library after a refurbishment designed to create a bright and comfortable space to encourage use by the local community.

The work was carried out after the charity, which manages the library, asked the local community what they would like to see at the facility in The Broadway.
