Get Online Week takes place from Monday 14th to Sunday 20th October.
Get Online Week is an annual campaign run by Good Things Foundation which helps thousands of digitally excluded people get online through events hosted by community organisations offering digital inclusion support.
We're on a mission to bridge the digital divide through:
🔌 Improving access to devices
📶 Raising awareness of cyber security
💻 Offering digital skills training and support
If you or someone you know is looking to improve their online skills or just needs a hand with some IT tasks, the lovely volunteers at our libraries can help! Whether you’re just starting or want to learn more, try a session with one of our IT Buddies who can help you to learn something new and get online. You may want support with sending an email, learning to video call, or getting to grips with Office365. We have IT buddies available at both Richmond and Catterick Libraries, providing free face-to-face help and support with all sorts. Please ask a member of staff for more details and to book a slot.
We also have some things taking place in our libraries throughout Get Online Week that we would love for you to join in with.
