The Summer Reading Challenge is back at your local libraries!

The Summer Reading Challenge 2024 for children aged 4-11 years launches in all our libraries on Saturday 13th July.

This year’s challenge is called ‘Marvellous Makers’ and is all about celebrating children’s creativity!

This year’s challenge aims to fire up children’s imaginations and unleash storytelling and creativity through the power of reading. And that doesn’t JUST include reading, you could create your own puppets and reenact stories, draw some of your favourite characters, or write and illustrate your very own story!

We hope to inspire children to unleash their curiosity and creativity.

We are excited for the challenge to begin and we have a fun-filled schedule of events taking place at our libraries over the summer. We wait to see our libraries busy with families throughout July and August.

Want to sign up to the Summer Reading Challenge? Just pop into one of our libraries or find out more on The Reading Agency’s website.
