Welcome to CRACCL

CRACCL - Catterick, Richmond and Colburn Community Libraries – serves local communities using the libraries in Catterick Garrison, Richmond and Colburn.

Trained volunteers, supported by paid staff:

  • Encourage and promote reading and learning
  • Provide access to digital services for work, learning and social connectivity
  • Provide access to information vital to work, benefits, personal finance and job seeking
  • Provide a range of health and wellbeing information and signposting to promote resilience, learning and engagement

The service is inclusive, and supports anyone whose access may be limited by their disability or other factors.

We work in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council, the Army, local councillors, town councils, schools, and other groups to make each library the beating heart of its community.
